The membership application is long, with a number of fields that allow you to describe your practice and prepare your profile for the Coach Directory. You do not have to fill them all in before you submit your membership form. You can come back after you have become a member to pick and choose the ones that best fit your practice. You can also update them at any time, as long as you are a member.
As described on the Membership Requirements page, full members of the chapter need to have had 60 hours of coach-specific training. If you have not yet received that training, please join as a Provisional Member. You have the rest of 2012 to complete the training, and CCEUs from presentations by this chapter may count.
As of April 1, 2012, membership rates cover one year starting the day you join. You will receive emails reminding you to renew when the end of your membership year approaches. We no longer have a prorated membership fee, since everyone gets a full year's membership, no matter when they join.
For members who joined before April 1, 2012, the end of their membership years is September 30. This is because we are transitioning from a system where all memberships were renewable on the same day, with a a prorated membership fee.
Please be sure to renew within the grace period to ensure you will continue to receive your member benefits; after the grace period passes you will no longer appear in the Coach Directory. Nor will you have access to materials on the Member's Only Page, such as presentation files and information about community outreach opportunities.
A Corporate Discount Program is also available for businesses that hire professional coaches. Contact the membership chairs for an application.
