Our Vision
Based in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, The International Coach Federation Raleigh Area Chapter (ICF-RAC) is dedicated to providing a community-based resource network for both coaches and coach-seekers. Our coaching association offers educational training and networking opportunities to existing and emerging coaches throughout the region. We aim to reach out and connect coaches and potential clients in ever increasing numbers.
Our Purpose
The purpose of ICF-RAC is to improve and further the coaching profession and its practitioners as it contributes to the betterment of the community we serve, promoting coaching as a profession and developing member coaches.
Our Commitment
The ICF has developed a definition and philosophy of coaching and has established a set of ethical standards that ICF members pledge to uphold. The International Coach Federation and the Raleigh Area Chapter are committed to upholding and promoting the highest ethical standards for coaches. As a local chapter, we operate independently, but are closely connected with ICF Headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky. Our dues, membership, and meetings are separate from ICF, but we do receive funding and offer Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEUs) in support of ICF certification standards.
